Halfcut Clothing’s Promo Video is Great

Wow! Just wow!

I recently read an article on the usefulness of promotional videos for your business and how to do one for about $100. By coincidence, my buddy Vincent Serio over at Halfcut Clothing tweeted yesterday the promo video for his company. I call Vincent my buddy as we “met” on Twitter and made a friendly t-shirt wager during this year’s NFL playoffs. Sadly, as a Packer fan, I had to pay up to Vincent, who is a huge Giants fan. I’m still bitter.

Anyway, late last night I pulled up the link to Halfcut’s video on my iPhone and let’s just say I was instantly impressed and awestruck. The playful music set the tone perfectly for his 1920′s brand and the imagery made me feel like I was going into an underground speakeasy. Throughout the video, their was artful use of his logo on beer kegs and other items. Still photos of products and models wearing Halfcut shirts were creatively set into motion by some kind of sophisticated software, I’m sure. This was no amateur job and sets the bar high for anyone aspiring to produce a video for their company. Well done, Vincent, and p.s. — I hope the Pack beats the GMen next year.
